So apparently your indie if you listen to old rock. ... .. What. The. Fuck. We watched this movie, Bandslam about a self proclaimed "indie kid" who listens to David Bowie. That's not Indie... Indie in David Bowie's time were simply bands with independent labels. Indie is now a type of music, granted, but you can't put old music into a new type of music. DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM THERE.
Indie is now a bunch of people who want to be "non conformist" but in doing so they all conform to a certain group of people. Thus they are no longer indie. Does any one find this annoying? Independent ... Indie...Yet it sums up an entire music genre. Isn't that like... Retarded? Hypocritical? Oxymoronic? Something like that. It makes me angry how stupid people are.

it pisses me off to. its just sad people who need to be part of a group to feel safe and superior. and bandslam sucks. although i did liked the song at the end.
